Missed Your City's Deadline?

It's definitely preferred and recommended that you apply online by your city's application deadline -- that way you are guaranteed consideration for America's Greatest Otaku and we can even arrange a meet up with selectees for when we're in your city.

However, we realize that applying online isn't possible for everyone T.T Some of you may have found out about America's Greatest Otaku after your city's deadline had already passed, others may not have access to a video camera, etc.

It's ok! We want to meet as many great fans as possible and so we'd like to present an alternative way to enter --
'applying on the spot!'

We'll be designating official times for this at various cities throughout the tour and regularly updating them here -- please leave a comment at the bottom of this page to let us know if you'd like us to have 'applying on the spot' in your city!

We won't be able to offer this everywhere along the tour, so please don't depend on 'applying on the spot' if you have a chance to apply online -- but we will do the best we can to offer this at many locations!

How to Apply on The Spot
*Go to the TOKYOPOP Tour Bus at the time designated on this page
*You just need to bring yourself and anything you'd like to show us -- for exampe, artwork, cosplay, your voice (if you want to show off singing or voice acting skills!), etc.
*After you visit us in person, we'll ask you to fill out the online application form (we need you to review and accept the terms and conditions, etc -- but you won't need to upload an application video -- you can just write 'applied in person' in that space ^_^b)

Tip! Be sure to come to apply in good time -- we are only able to do on-the-spot interviews on a first come, first serve basis until we run out of time.
